The two designers drew their inspiration for the garden from Duncan’s eight year old nephew, Liam, who has Down’s syndrome and is supported by Down’s Syndrome Scotland.
We want to help everyone with Down’s syndrome reach their fullest potential through every age and stage of life. We know that one of the best ways of doing this is by supporting families and carers.
As a small, committed charity we want to ensure we reach every community in Scotland that needs us, by not only providing support, services and training but also calling out injustice and inequality. Donate today to help us make amazing things happen for people with Down syndrome living in Scotland.
We are thrilled to announce that Down’s Syndrome Scotland will have a show garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in May 2025.
Find out everything you need to know about Down’s syndrome – living with the condition, it’s causes and the three different types.
